Q. How current is iSki resort information?
A. Resort information is updated every hour on the hour, 24 hours a day, seven days a week throughout the ski season.
Q. How do powder alerts work?
A. Every day at 6:30 a.m., iSki checks with each resort to see which ones received new snow in the past 24 hours. Resorts receiving 3 or more inches are reported. A text message is sent to iSki customers who have one or more favorite resorts reporting new snow. This feature is turned off by default. If you uninstall iSki from your iPhone, you must turn Powder Alerts off before doing so or continue receiving them.
Q. How does iSki keep track of my location?
A. iSki automatically updates your GPS (Global Positioning System) location as it changes, up to once per second.
